The "Worldviews 2013: Global Trends in Media and Higher Education" will take place in Toronto - June 19-21, 2013 on the University of Toronto campus.
Organized by the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education/University of Toronto, the Ontario Confederation of University Faculty Associations (OCUFA), the Washington-based Inside Higher Ed and the London-based University World News, Worldviews 2013 is a lively two-day conference, assembling a variety of thinkers, academics, editors, students, journalists, communications professionals from colleges and universities across the globe, all offering critical perspectives on higher education and the media and possible directions for the future.
The conference explores the impact of new and emerging forms of communication, the internationalization of higher education campuses in a time of explosive demand and how fundamental shifts in journalism are affecting higher education, to list only a few.
